What would be your dream home built Ford Mustang? What modifications, both internally and externally would you do, assuming you started from scratch, picking each individual part and perfecting your Pony.
In your post, give:
Examples:
Year/Style: 1967, 2004, S-197, SN-95, S550, etc.
Body/body kit: Cervini's Stalker, RTR-C, Saleen302 (whether it's specific trim parts or entire kits. Billet grille, Blackout decklid, lights, etc.
Color/paint: Matte, Gloss, Striped, BOSS302, Wrapped, etc.
Wheels: Size/color AMRs -black, HREs - Green. Bagged?
Engine: Motor - 5.0 with BOSS 302 manifold, 3.7 V6 with a twin scroll turbo...
Engine: Additional parts/mods: Outlaw Exhaust, Cobra Jet Shaker, BAMA tune, etc.
Don't be afraid to suggest something non-Mustangy and/or radical. 2JZ-GTE are approved, sigh.
Let's see what we all come up with in terms of style and/or badassness

I've got a few:
An S550 GT in Grabber Blue with a 302 Motor and weighing less than 3400lbs.
An SN95 GT in Competition Orange with Coyote 5.0, cammed with soo much loping and a Cobra kit.
And lastly, an S550 Bullitt tribute.
(If I could find a rendering or example)
As you can probably tell, I don't know much about the aftermarket for Stangs or much about them in general to be specific..

1966 Fastback in Highland Green. Mod motor with mirror image turbos sticking up through the hood a bit (covered with perforated metal speed bumps). Six speed. Late model Mustang suspension w/ IRS. 18" Torq-Thrust Ds to keep some vintage vibe. Big brakes. Subtle aero mods- splitter, spoiler, side skirts, full belly pan. Six point cage, rear seat delete, Recaros covered in original materials.

*puts flamesuit on and prepares to be kicked off oppo for heresay*
sn95, 1969, or 2014 Mustang with a BMW Inline 6.
Painted BMW Lemans blue with caramel front seats out of an E39 M5. No back seat
Lowered on KW coilovers (not slammed, maybe 1-2 finger fender gap)
Hypersilver apex ARC-8 wheels in 18x9.5 squared.
20% window tint including windshield (because stealth)

Jon Huber's Mustang checks off most of my boxes.
That's a Turbo 4 banger nose up.

I'd like one of these:
With all the underpinnings from a 2013-2014 GT500, with the exception of the wheels/tires/brakes. Wheels in the same style as the stock Bullitt wheels, but with the best brakes I can get stuffed in them.

I will take a 1969 Convertible like pictured, but done up in the "Redfire" paint from the '05-'07 cars, with the headlight surrounds black, like this .
Suspension will be a modern adjustable unit, capable of comfort or performance.
Now onto the powerplant. Everybody else is just planning on stuffing a huge V8 in it. Instead, I will be taking the Mustang's original choice of engine to it's logical conclusion, with the Barra 245T I6 that Ford AU currently uses in the Falcon. That's good for 330hp and 355 ft-lbs. That's more than enough, no need to go overboard.

My 1995 cobra coupe.
Engine/Drivetrain: Fully forged 351w with Victor jr heads custom cam and THP 88mm single turbo kit. T56 magnum trans with 03 cobra IRS.
Suspension: full griggs suspension.
I am torn between keeping it white and putting a saleen body kit or going with gulf racing colors and stock cobra bumpers except putting 96 plus cobra rear bumper that says "cobra" instead of"mustang" that the 94-95 came with.

A SN95 03/04 Terminator Cobra Convertible to start (for the IRS)
-Roush Stage 3 Transformation (saw a stage 3 convertible in person when I was a kid and fell in love instantly)- Side-exit exhaust, bodykit, suspension, brembo brakes, and all the Roush details.
-Finally, in sonic blue, and top it off with a mach-1 shaker hood.
This is the closest photo I could get (only external difference being the coupe with different hood).

A 1967 Shelby GT500 clone with a independent rear suspension and a 427 cammer motor, it will be Wimbledon white with blue stripes like this one. But It will have dark grey Torque thrusts.

1968 gt500 KR body
The spoiler and rear window slits off a Mach 1
The 427 racing engine from a GT40
Straight piped, black paint with red stripes and red spoiler, on the fence about a supercharger, wheel size 19 with fat slicks.
Racing suspension, NOT STANCED
maybe mild fender flares for the wider tires but not stupidly wide.
Finally a stripped and caged interior with a body that's made out of carbon fibre. (The carbon fibre is painted over so that you can't tell it's not an original body)

Another dream car of mine (sleeper version):
1971-1973 Grande
70's gold paint with matching steelies
Complete 2009+ Cobra Jet drivetrain with just enough exhaust to keep it under the radar.

I haven't laid my hands on an s550 chassis but if it didn't exist the ultra stiff s-197 would be my choice of chassis with the new voodoo motor. 5.0l direct injected twin turbo motor mated to the great t56 manual. The body work would be all carbon with a wave-track limited slip 3.73 rear stick axle and Griggs racing world challenge suspension. Active areo including extending and retracting front splitter, rear spoiler with air brake, and ground following side skirts.
All this in beautiful matte grabber blue and matte oxford white.

Mustang II Ghia, dark primary color with Chamois landau roof, 5.9 Cummins 12V swapped and tuned to ~500hp & 900 torques, paired with a 5MT, because fuck all the conventions.
12/10 would DD.
